Mining Operations

Our facilities in Utah and New Mexico produce nearly a million tons of potassium products each year. That translates into unparalleled career opportunity for today's industrial maintenance and mining professionals—from on-site electricians and mechanics to mine operations specialists.

Intrepid Potash offers several scheduling options depending on position and assignment. At our mining facility in Carlsbad, New Mexico, maintenance and operations positions rotate between days and evenings, and schedules vary between 8- and 12-hour shifts. While certain schedules feature straight days with weekends off, rotating 12-hour shifts offer the equally attractive option of seven continuous days off each month. Whatever role you choose, you'll find that our 24/7, year-round operation offers the flexibility you need, and the work/life balance you deserve.

Opportunities include:

  • Electrician
  • Mechanic
