Safety is an essential value at Intrepid Potash. In fact, we were among the first mining operations in the region to sign a partners-in-safety agreement with the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). We provide cash awards for safe practice ideas, conduct random drug screens and constantly instill and upgrade safety practices at our gas-free mining facilities. As a result, our West facility has proudly been honored with four of the industry's prestigious Sentinel Safety Awards.
