Intrepid Potash, Inc. Hires New General Manager for Intrepid Potash - New Mexico, LLC

DENVER, Colorado, February 8, 2008 -- Intrepid Potash, Inc. announced that Len Kaskiw will be General Manager of Intrepid Potash - New Mexico, LLC., effective mid-March 2008. 

Mr. Kaskiw is currently employed by Mosaic Potash in Esterhazy Saskatchewan.  He has been with Mosaic since 1985 serving in numerous capacities -- most recently, he has been serving as the Manager of Mines, Esterhazy Operations, leading a team of 560 people.  He also served as the Manager of Continuous Improvement at the Esterhazy mine.  A previous assignment includes time in Hersey, MI where he was the Mine and Maintenance Superintendent. 

Mr. Kaskiw holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
