Salt

Intrepid Potash, Inc. produces solar salt at its Moab, Utah facility. The salt is dried and screened into three product sizes; fine, medium and coarse. Intrepid solar salt has a variety of uses including:

Road and highway de-icing
Industrial uses in oil and gas drilling and recovery and chlor-alkali plants
Animal feed and processing
Commercial and home water softeners

In order to meet the various needs of our customers, the salt products produced by Intrepid are sold in bulk, 2,400 lb. tote bags and 40 & 50 lb. paper and poly bags. Delivery is available by rail or truck. Intrepid is committed to providing high quality salt products to its customers throughout the western United States.
