SOUND GOVERNANCE

Honest Business Practices

Corporate Governance »

At Intrepid, we celebrate the great value that our differences in our people make and bring to our organization. We understand that diversity within our board and executive team creates an environment where people can share their experiences and ideas. Intrepid also looks to support a wide range of organizations within our communities, one of these being the Women’s Leadership Foundation. Through Intrepid’s collaboration with the Women’s Leadership Foundation, we connected with Mary McBride. Mary has been elected to our Board of Directors beginning May 2020.

Ms. McBride is a senior banking executive with over 30 years of experience and leadership in commercial banking. In her banking career, she covered a variety of industries with a focus on agriculture markets, and has experience working with companies in agricultural production, processing, marketing, and fertilizer, as well as the oil and gas industry. She joined CoBank, ACB in 1993 and most recently served as president from 2013 to 2016 prior to her departure from the organization in December 2016. Prior to her term as president, Ms. McBride served as the chief operating officer and chief banking officer at CoBank, ACB. Prior to CoBank, ACB, she worked for First Interstate Bank of Denver and the First National Bank of Boston. Ms. McBride currently serves as an independent director for CatchMark Timber Trust, Inc. where she serves as the Audit Committee Chair and on the Compensation and Nominating/Governance Committees. GOVERNANCE

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Intrepid remains vigilant in our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our employees, contractors, customers, and communities we serve. We remain fully operational and continue to provide the essential minerals for agriculture, animal feed and oil and gas.

To keep our employees safe, we have implemented several sanitation and social distancing protocols throughout the organization. At our sites, our employees have continued with critical safety training while practicing social distancing and wearing masks. We have also implemented electronic signatures to isolate truck drivers from our employees. In our offices, we have installed hand sanitizer stations, provided masks and gloves, and installed signage to encourage employees to remain a safe distance apart.

We continue to monitor the latest development regarding COVID-19 and adjust our response to the situation daily, as events warrant. For more resources, best practices and current information please visit the CDC website: https://www.cdc.gov/.
